Who are you?
I’m a Graphic Designer who loves to Gather / Cook / Food Style… and have also been know as a renovator on 'the block’.
What motivates you?
For me whole, nutrient-filled ingredients are way of life. More and more I have friends and family coming to me asking me questions about diet, health, foods, recipes and what cushion matches their couch. I’m inspired by the questions I’m asked, and motived by healthy, sustainable choices. I love being able to share healthy recipes with people, and help them swap bad ingredients for nutritious ones. I like to encourage people to find pleasure, and inspiration in the act creating a beautiful and healthy home space and gathering friends, neighbours, and families to share a meal.
How do you escape from the whirlwind of life?
There is a little headland bush walk over the ocean right near my house. Every time I do it I feel like I’m a world away on a summer holiday. My other trick is putting my phone on night mode.
What's your best tip to start the day fresh?
Wake up with the sun. Spend a little bit of time in the morning sun, with a fresh cold pressed juice or lemon water.
Favourite wake up treat?
I’m a huge pancake fan! So on the mornings I have time, making some coconut flour or buckwheat pancakes with fruit and yogurt is always a winner!
Best ALAS piece to sleep in peace?
My favs would be the Kerala Teddy for hot summer nights, or the Koh-i-noor leggings to keep warm in winter.
