The launch of our latest collection Infinite Escape, as well as celebrating turning four has made for a very busy office! It is times like these that a good night’s sleep becomes all the more important. Sleep is a perfect opportunity to rejuvenate and restore our sense of balance, and reset for the coming days.
We’ve put together a list of inspirations to create the ideal sleep space.
Utilise natural light and compliment it with clean tones, it's a wonderful way to get you out of bed in the morning, and creates a simple yet comfortable space. But don't forget, if you're a light sleeper think about adding heavier curtains if you want to enjoy a weekend sleep in!
Visual and physical textures add depth and expression, as well as a warm, cozy feeling. Layers of blankets and pillows in an array of textures and soothing tones will make an irresistible nest.
Incorporating plants into your bedroom may seem unorthodox, but what better way to bring elements of nature into your sleep zone than with a pot on the shelf, a hanging basket in the window or a tiny succulent on your dresser.
Consider limiting technology. A scary thought for some, but removing the TV and laptop limits your daily exposure to EMFs, and allows you to focus on your immediate surroundings, whether it be sharing space with the cat, loved ones or simply a good book and a cuppa.
Lastly, this is your space, so make sure to include a personal touch. A memory from a recent travel destination, your favourite pieces of art, seashells or rocks, these details are important in creating a place you are familiar with and reflects your ideals in the outside world.
